Arizona Outdoor Recreation Coordinating Commission
MISSION
The AORCC serves in an advisory capacity to the Arizona State Parks Board, and:
1. reviews statewide outdoor recreation and lake improvement plans,
2. reviews budget proposals for the use of Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) surcharges and State Lake Improvement Fund (SLIF) for planning and administration,
3. establishes criteria and policies for the equitable distribution of funding, and
4. reviews applications for eligible projects and determines the amount of funding for each project to be funded from the LWCF, SLIF, the Law Enforcement and Boating Safety Fund (LEBSF) and Arizona Heritage Fund Trails and Local, Regional and State Parks components
