The Don Pedro Turtle Patrol is a group of dedicated volunteers operating under myself, Brenda Bossman, as the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Principle Marine Turtle Permit Holder. Every day these experienced and trained volunteers go out and walk their section of the beach on Don Pedro and Knight Islands (also known locally as Palm Island), and document all marine turtle activity including new nests, false crawls, predation, inundation by tides, disorientations (usually by lights)
