New York Friends of the Edgewood-Oak Brush Plains Preserve, is a legal, 501c3 not-for- profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization committed to restoring and protecting the largest intact remnant of pitch pine scrub oak barrens habitat on Long Island (and the second largest in New York State) — the Oak Brush Plains Nature Preserve, located on Commack Road in Western Suffolk County.
