ABOUT US

At Kapa’au, North Kohala, a dedicated island conservation organization is building Hawai’i’s first exclusively native wildlife recovery center. It serves to provide state-of-the-art care and rehabilitation as well as comprehensive wildlife rescue training and public education/outreach programs. The Hawai’i Wildlife Center (HWC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, consists of three integrated facilities: the treatment facility, the interpretive courtyard and the education facility. The Center will operate 7 days per week year-round.
