ABOUT US
The primary mission is to assist and support Boards of health [and related governmental and community organizations/agencies]throughout the Commonwealth in meeting their statutory and service responsibilities, through programs of education, technical assistance, representation, and resource development. Massachusetts Boards of Health are held responsible, under Massachusetts General Laws, state and local regulations and community direction, for disease prevention and control, and health and environmental protection and promoting a healthy community.
