Santee Cooper Country Promotion Commission

South Carolina Welcome to Santee Cooper Country. This commission was created by the South Carolina Legislature in 1968 and is the official regional tourism office promoting Berkeley, Calhoun, Clarendon, Orangeburg and Sumter Counties. We are governed by an 11 member board that is appointed by the Governor upon recommendations from the legislative delegations from out five counties.
