ABOUT US

The Sawtooth Science Institute is based in Ketchum, but offers 25 to 30 workshops lasting two to four days on a variety of natural history topics at locations throughout southern and central Idaho. Class topics include geology, biology and botany, and historical topics such as the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Many of the workshops meet outdoors in stunning settings such as wildflower meadows in Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains or a canoeing bird watching trip floating down one of the Gem State’s rivers. Workshops are available in the spring, summer and fall.
