ABOUT US
Western Drug and General Store has been a unique part of Round Valley and the area for more than 76 years. It has a rich history of taking care of peoples needs as a pharmacy, sporting goods and general store.
Established in 1934 by Ellis Chitwood, Western Drug was purchased by Merle Harper in 1958, and he ran the store successfully for many years. He moved the store across Main Street to its current location in 1978. Expanding the small pharmacy to a full-line store of more than 18,000 square feet proved Merle was ahead of his time.
